    Arranger's Comments:

This excerpt covers the final 37 measures of the second movement (the Adagio) of Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 6 in A Major. The movement as a whole is considered by many to be an incredibly solemn masterwork, but these last few measures really put it over the top. As the arranger, I personally feel the very last five measures of this arrangement are the *real* "stairway to heaven," where Bruckner takes the listener up to the Pearly Gates and deposits them right inside.
