“Tavern Dance” is an exciting rondo piece for tuba and piano, featuring melodies reminiscent of something you might hear blown on a fife or played on a fiddle in a medieval tavern. Short and dexterous, it’s an exciting way to finish off a recital. The work was premiered on my recital at Arizona State University, The Hero’s Journey, on November 10th, 2022.
